David Pearl LCSW- Session – Switching from Automatic Pilot to Thoughtful Responses
Being trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I utilize mindfulness interventions and teach stress-management techniques to promote healthy living and positive life choices. The foundation of ACT is to identify and accept aspects of your life that are out of your control, while taking committed action for aspects that are within your control.
I specialize in young professionals, couples working on their relationship, and individuals who suffer from anxiety, depression, and chronic pain. Prior experience includes counseling patients with chronic illness, and psychotherapy with individuals & couples in an outpatient mental health center and in private practice.
